Chronic pain care in Sydney, NS.Pain is real. It can be managed.

When the alarm won’t switch off
Pain is your body’s alarm. Sometimes it keeps ringing after the body has healed. When it lasts past three months, we call it chronic pain.
The nervous system gets more sensitive and turns the volume up. That’s a real change in the body—not “all in your head.”

- • Set goals around doing more, not just a pain score.

What success looks like
Not zero pain—smaller, steadier, easier to live with. Walking the dog. Sleeping through. Fewer flares.
- Doing more of what matters — walking the dog, getting back to work, keeping up with family.
- Sleeping better — fewer nights interrupted by pain.
- Needing less rescue — fewer flares, fewer emergency visits, and the lowest helpful dose of medication.
- Understanding your pain — knowing why it persists and what you can do about it.
Results vary; we check progress together.
